Can you remember what book you read yesterday? Frog on a log here You may like to read this other story by Kes Gray Oi Dog Today we are going to have a go at being authors, what do authors do? We are going to write our own rhyming sentences based on ‘Frog on a log’ Here are some ideas ‘The frog sat on a carrot and saw a parrot’ ‘The frog sat on a chair and got squashed by a bear’ Look how I have improved my sentence ‘The lovely little green frog sat on the magic bed and then suddenly turned red’ Have fun making up your own and have a go at writing and illustrating. We would love to see your writing. |

Maths Warm up: Play this ordering game, click here to play. Main: Doubles Talk about what double means, count out 2 objects and say if we double the number what do we get? Give 2 more objects and say double 2 is 4. Talk about how it is the opposite of halving which we did yesterday. Double other numbers using practical objects.
