Handwriting practise Are there any letters that you keep getting the wrong way around? Keep practising those letters. Remember practise makes perfect. If all your letters are formed correctly practise writing some of our tricky letters such as g y p f – remember that these letters go under the line. |

English Remind the children that on Friday it is VE day. VE day is a celebration day. Some people celebrate it every year. It marks the end of World War II. This year its is 75 years since World II ended. We are going to plan a party (In our homes/gardens only)
You can also try and make place mats for all of your party guests (remember these can only be people or pets living in your home) – Make them VE day themed with lots of flags. |

Phonics Mrs Allard/Mrs Whitehouse - Look at the sound or (or shut the door). Listen to the story “The Unicorn” – read through the story and use a highlighter or colouring pen to find all the words in the story that have the or sound in them. Write down all of the words that you found in the story and practise reading them.
