This week, it is British Sandwich Week! There’s lots we can do, including eating many sandwiches!

Activity: Can you design, draw and label a super, scrumptious sandwich? Think about the type of bread you will have; white, wholemeal, wrap, baguette? Will it be grilled, toasted, warm or cold?

Think of the fillings you will put in and how it will be prepared i.e. grated or sliced cheese, diced or sliced cucumbers.

Finally, will you top it with any sauces or seasoning? For example, mayonnaise, salt and pepper, dressing?

We have also created an additional list for writing ideas.

We want you to think about this question….

Does the wind always blow in the same direction?

You will need to make a windsock and then find somewhere outside to hang it.  Over the course of the next few days observe your windsock and talk to your grown up about what is happening.  All the time think about the original question - Does the wind always blow in the same direction?

This is a nice video clip to watch about wind socks

And here are some ideas on how to make a windsock of your own.  You may have your own ideas too.  That’s all good.  Please send us photos on our twitter pages so we can see and share with each other.

Can you tell us what you have found out?

Does the wind always blow in the same direction?
