English Continuing from your super, scrumptious sandwich design, we want you to test out your design by making your sandwich. Try to be as independent as possible! (You may need a a little help from an adult) Taste test the ingredients and fillings, you may want to swap some of your original ingredient choices for something else. Complete and then eat your sandwich (Share a pic on Twitter for us to see!) Can you practise saying the steps to making your sandwich. For example – First get two slices of bread, butter and a knife. Next spread butter onto your bread. After that… We have also created an additional list for writing ideas. |

CURRICULUM (You won’t need a computer for this) ICT: Algorithms – An algorithm is a precise sequence of instructions, or set of rules, for performing a task. There are many opportunities in everyday life that need a sequence of instructions such as cleaning your teeth, getting dressed or making a sandwich. Children will learn to create a short sequence of instructions (algorithms) to program their Bee-bot to move. They can create their own Bee-bot model/drawing or use the template provided.
(You can access a free Bee-bot app by TTS on Play Store or the App Store if you want to try on the online version!) |
