English The story of Captain Tom Moore is an important one to share with children. Watch the news clip on this link as a reminder of his amazing achievement. https://bbc.in/2Y0hMsC Talk about how sometimes it’s not the biggest actions that can have the biggest impact and that all of the things that we do affect the world around us! Captain Tom didn’t even leave his garden but managed to raise a lot of money to help the NHS and raise the spirits of the nation! Discussion: Can we think of anything we can do at the moment to help others? (Even if it’s picking up litter along your walk. Or helping in your garden, in the house or with a younger brother/sister. Activity: Can you write a thank you letter to Captain Tom Moore? Draw a picture of him walking laps in his garden for charity. Maybe you can also mention what you are doing to be helpful at home too?
