Please note this is a guide of what children will be doing in school, there is no requirement for all of these tasks to be completed each day! Timings are just a guide, do what suits you and your child each day.

Topic - History

This week (12th May) It was Florence Nightingale’s 200th birthday.

Ask the children what they can remember about Florence Nightingale.

Discuss why Florence Nightingale is a significant person.

Activity: Draw a picture of what nurses used to look like (Use Florence Nightingale to help you) and what nurses look like now (Use the NHS staff to help you).

Write 2 sentences about what has changed and what has stayed the same?
