English This week, we are continuing with our unit ‘The City of Silence’. For today’s learning, we are going to edit and improve yesterday’s descriptive paragraph by adding in figurative language. Watch the videos on the three different types of figurative language, and how to know the difference between literal and figurative language. Complete the quiz to check your understanding. Go back over yesterday’s descriptive paragraph and add in at see if there is anywhere that you could add hyperbole, similes or metaphors to improve your writing. |
